A postcard might be a symbol, a token of the past which I adored giving just as much as receiving as a child. It’s love written down and drawn. It’s like dreams retained in time. Postcards are always innocent. They are good words that cheer us up, make us cry, but can also make us happy. This goes for both the sender and the recipient because they are a friendship pact and evidence that we’ve thought about someone we love.
